After trying every purple shampoo on the market with no luck, Jane decided to create her own formula that delivered real results.
In 2015, Jane launched the first Bold Uniq purple shampoo from her home kitchen. It was an instant hit with friends and family who were amazed by how well it neutralized brassiness and kept their hair vibrant. Word quickly spread, and Bold Uniq officially launched online, rapidly gaining a cult following for our effective purple hair products.
Since then, we’ve expanded into a full line of hair masks, conditioners, and styling products aimed at repairing, softening, and protecting all hair types. At the heart of every Bold Uniq formula is our proprietary BoldPlex bond repair technology that rebuilds bonds in the hair for incredible strength and shine.

Jane Doe, Founder and CEO
Jane created the first Bold Uniq formula in her own kitchen after struggling for years to find a purple shampoo that gave her the icy tones she wanted. She believes that effective haircare should be fun too!
Sarah Lee, Lead Chemist
Sarah heads up our product development and brings over 15 years of experience creating salon-quality hair products. She gets excited about all things related to hair science.
Monica Chen, Digital Marketing Director
Monica keeps Bold Uniq on the cutting edge of digital marketing and ecommerce trends. She loves connecting with our followers online.
Jessica Thompson, Hair Education Manager

How We Give Back
Giving back is extremely important to us. That’s why we founded the Bold Uniq Hair Foundation that provides hair services and products to people undergoing cancer treatment.
We also partner with exceptional charitable organizations like Clean Water for All that work to provide clean drinking water in developing areas. Recently, we funded the installation of 5 new wells in a village in Ghana.
Finally, we are proud that our facilities operate on 100% renewable energy and we use recycled and eco-friendly materials in our packaging. We do our best to minimize our environmental footprint.
